What are you Facing, Embracing, Defying and Conquering? I am facing my diagnosis. I am defying my odds of sensation to my lower extremities and I am conquering the ability to walk again.

How do you FACE it? By giving thanks to God and praying for continued strength, joy, and peace through this journey.

How do you EMBRACE it? With constant therapy, workouts, rehabilitation, and research 

How do you DEFY it? With my fiancé, family, and friends by my side cheering me on and pushing me to fight harder.

How do you CONQUER it? By never giving up.

What does this scholarship from VVF mean to you? This Victoria’s Victory Foundation scholarship means defying the odds of overcoming this neurologic condition. I can complete strength and condition to be able to do the work needed to rehab and recover.
