In 2018 Kyle was in a motorcycle accident that left him with a C6/7 spinal cord injury. Today, Kyle is living as a quadriplegic and working hard to regain the independence he had prior to his accident and live an active lifestyle.

For Kyle, finding a community in sports has been a key piece in his recovery. He joined a wheelchair rugby team and finds himself traveling often for tournaments. Kyle quickly found out how much more difficult traveling was when he needed to bring a bulky shower commode.

A Victory Scholarship allowed Kyle to receive a portable shower commode, and continue playing the sport he loves, while gaining that next level of independence.
