Meet Chayton

Shortly after my son was born, he was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy & HPE. HPE is a rare disease and everywhere we turned people couldn’t help us or didn’t understand how extreme his needs truly are. There isn’t a lot on HPE because most babies die at birth or after 6 months. He’s a miracle that deserves to be part of everyone’s life. His diagnoses had progressed to a point where his head was banging on everything because of migraine pain and his muscles are weakening. Even though my son’s condition is progressing it’s not fast enough for insurance companies to help us get the equipment we need. It has become a matter of safety for my son.

By receiving a scholarship from the Victory Scholarship program, we were able to get my son an adaptive stroller to keep him safe & be able to interact with our family. Since receiving the stroller, it has allowed my son to have a better quality of life and be part of our family.
