My name is Caroline. I have 3 beautiful children and 2 fur babies along with my wonderful husband. I became paralyzed on June 21st, 2016. Before getting sick my life was an active one, teaching Zumba, keeping my kids active by bike riding, hiking, and just relaxing in our yard. I was in the hospital for 7 weeks last Summer working hard to get better. The therapists kept addressing my condition as one as I "may" recover. That was and still is an unacceptable answer for me. I am determined to walk again. This is why I reached out to Project Walk Boston in hopes that they had a better program designed for me. We went for an evaluation and they exceeded my expectations. We were very impressed with their skills and they way each recovery specialist is involved with the patients.Your help would mean a great deal to me and my family. I am a fighter and in great spirits, but we need your help in this fight to walk again. Any assistance is greatly appreciated, and will go a long way to ensuring that I have the tools to achieve my recovery without worrying about how to get around and how the bills will be paid. I believe in myself and I know I will conquer this huge challenge with your help and I thank you for being part of my success. Thank you very much for your consideration.
